Benefits for Staffing Companies

It is estimated that 40 percent of temporary laborers sent out to a job by their staffing company are not qualified for the demands of the job site. This often results in the temporary laborer being let go during the grace period and a refund to the employer by the staffing company. In addition, the staffing company loses credibility in the industry in which it is trying to place its laborers.

Lead Carpenter Training is prepared to assist staffing companies and temporary placement agencies by providing screening services of their laborers. Lead Carpenter Training can assess a laborer’s skill set in the following areas:

  • Preparedness and punctuality
  • Door and window installation
  • Kick out and clearance ability
  • Metal bending ability using a brake
  • Blueprint reading level
  • Ability to hang drywall
  • Metal stud framing skill level
  • Drop ceiling install skill level

Lead Carpenter Training can assess your laborer on any or all of the above areas. We will provide an emailed assessment of your laborer stating qualifications and areas where the laborer is deficient. For this service Lead Carpenter Training charges $35 per half hour. We are also open to testing other skill sets if demand is present.
