Lead Carpenter Training
Lead Carpenter Training’s mission is to teach a new set of specialty construction skills to existing carpenters within the trade with two or more years of construction experience. These newly developed skills will provide the laborer with an updated skill set to handle all components of the latest developed construction product.
Lead Carpenter Training, LCT, is certified under the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. LCT was founded in an effort to satisfy the need for qualified skilled laborers in the carpentry profession. The school is located in a portion of a warehouse facility at 4911 Grant Avenue, Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio. Training is conducted via a 10 foot high and 100 foot long training wall which allows students and graduates hands-on access to hone their carpentry skills including door and window installation, metal bending brake operation, weatherization installation, blueprint reading, James Hardie panel installation, trim installation and panel cutting and kick out.
All Lead Carpenter Training instructors are well-qualified skilled carpenters or general contractors who combine their experience and knowledge with a desire to teach. Lead Carpenter Training believes in the principle and practice of Equal Employment Opportunity.
LCT also offers contractors, general contractors, staffing agencies and any interested company or institution the ability to screen or assess a prospective laborer’s skill set. A full report will be provided to the client. Please see the Benefits tabs for further information.
